Jesus and the Word of God
While Jesus was teaching, Luke states that Now it happened that while the crowd was pressing around Him and listening to the word of God, He was standing by the lake of Gennesaret; (Luke 5:1).
Yes, Jesus’ teaching was considered the Word of God. Further, Luke records Jesus saying:
"Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God. (Luke 8:11). It is the seed that produces the fruit of saving faith.
Jesus later stated: "My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it." (Luke 8:21). And again He said: "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it." (Luke 11:28)
Thus we read Paul’s statement that as the disciples of Jesus we are to “take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” (Ephesians 6:17).
Are you equipped with the Word of God? Are you observing and doing it? Read it, Study it, Internalize it, and do it. Such is the way of blessing.

Note Luke, writing the book of Acts, mentions this in Acts 4:31; 6:2, 7; 8:14; 11:1; 12:24; 13:5, 7, 46; 17:13; 18:11.
