Observations and Thoughts:
It is the lot of God's people to endure suffering and persecution by the world.
God will be WITH them THROUGH such and will strengthen them.
They may be rescued from some only to find that more await them.
Endurance is to continue doing what brought the suffering. Steadfastness is found in the continued godly living that was the cause of the suffering and persecution.
There will be the ultimate salvation in the eternal heavenly kingdom of Christ, a crown of righteousness. Hugh DeLong
