They served in the 'type' and not in heaven -

Lives forever to make intercession - 7:25-28

Serves IN HEAVEN - in the presence of the Father.  Heb. 9:11, 25

Hebrews 9:25 - "nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the holy place year by year with blood that is not his own."

Mediator of the NEW / better covenant - 9:15

Hebrews 9:15 - "For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance."

A better hope - for those who come to God through Him. 7:19

Hebrews 7:19 - "(for the Law made nothing perfect), and on the other hand there is a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God."

Hebrews 6:19 - "This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil,"

Hebrews 3:6 - "but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house—whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end."

Hebrews 6:11 - "And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end,"

Hebrews 10:23 - "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;"

Truly, "We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat" (Heb. 13:10).
