Jesus - LIFE - and the Gospel of John

Today is a simple list/outline for you to study. Most of us have memorized John 14:6 which reads: “ Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me” (and if you haven’t I would suggest you do). This just elaborates and fills out the concept of what Jesus means in that saying. Look up and read these passages while keeping John 14:6 in mind.

Jesus IS life - John 14:6; John 6:33; John 11:25

IN Jesus is LIFE - John 1:4; John 6:35, 48

ONLY HE has the words of life – John 6:67-68

Jesus gave HIS LIFE for us to live in Him - John 6:51; John 10:10-11; John 10:15

Such shows HIS love for us - John 15:13

Jesus gives life to whom HE WILLS - John 5:21

Jesus gives life

To those who believe in Him - John 3:15-16; John 3:36; John 6:40; John 6:47; John 20:30-31

John 8:24 "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

To those who FOLLOW Him John 8:12

To those who feed on him – eat his flesh and drink his blood – John 6:53, 54

To those who OBEY Him – John 3:36

SOME, even with the evidence provided, refused – John 5:40

John later wrote: "And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life" (1John 5:11-12). Do you have life in Jesus?
